Tsitsernavank Monastery located in Kashatagh Region, on the right bank of the Aghavno river. The monument was first mentioned in XIII century.

The church had been founded on the spot of a pagan temple. The evidence of this is even there there in the name of the church, as the cult worship of swallow was famous in pre-Christian Armenia.

Dadivank was founded in the 1st c. at the site of the grave Dadi martyred for spreading Christian preaching. A chapel was built on the martyr preacher's tomb in place of which later, after the adoption of Christianity, the first church of the monastery was built.

Gandzasar monastery - "The pearl and encyclopedia of medieval architecture". The construction of the monastery was started in 1216 and completed in 1238. It was consecrated in 1240. The vestibule of the church represents the dynasty mausoleum of Hasan-Jalalyans, where the princes and Catholicoses of the dynasty are buried.
