TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is an integral part of the tourism industry. In 1841 Thomas Cook realized the first organized travel using train with steam power engine. Since then, transportation has become an inseparable part of tourism. Each method of transportation has its unique advantages and disadvantages and it’s impossible to consider tourism without transportation! With that being said, for us, speed has became one of the most important factors in exploring the world.
Automobile transportation is the most efficient and expeditious in our regions and is highly developed.

Note related to Artsakh:
We have 2 routes: Main road (Yerevan-Stepanakert) and the northern tourist route. Northern tourist route – the highway through Vardenis has recently been renovated.
