Remarkable tour through serpent road and gorges to the mountain range of Tavush, a place of glorious history.
The tour consists of two separate routes. At their request, the clients can have either a two-day tour or one of the route of your choice.
Route 1
The trip goes along the Yerevan-Dilijan Route. The first stopover of the trip is Aghavnavank, a monastery of the XII c., built in the heart of a Dilijan reservation. The next stopover is the Goshavank monastery complex, a masterwork of the ancient Armenian architecture, constructed in the XII-XIII cc. Not far from Goshavank there is the Gosh Lake situated in the thick oak forests of Dilijan colorful region. You can enjoy the beauties of the small lake and the surrounding mountains during the coffee break.
There is a lunch break in the Centre of Dilijan. The last but not least stopover of our trip is the Djukhtak medieval monastery complex, located in the vast forests, on the slope of a mountain, not far from the city of Dilijan.
Route 2
The trip goes along the Yerevan - Ijevan Route. The first stopover of the trip is the Kirants monastery complex, a fine example of the Armenian medieval architecture, located on the left bank of the river of the same name. Then we head for Deghdznut monastery (XIII c.), located in the forest in the gorge of the Khndzorkut River. From the Samson Bridge towards the Samson Monastery (XII-XII cc.), the road is impassable for cars. The monastery is situated in the wooded valley on the left bank of the Samson River and is considered an excellent example of the Medieval Armenian architecture.
The last but not least stopover of our tour is the Arakelots Monastery (XIIIc.), three km away from Kirants village of the Tavush province of the Republic of Armenia.
